Queen Victoria the latest addition to the Cunard Fleet has now begun her sea trials and sailed out of Venice for the 1st time on the 24th of August. It is reported that her first Sea trial was completed with Success and she has shown herself to be smooth, fast and quiet. Carnival Creates an aura of Serenity on Carnival Inspiration. Carnival cruises have announced that they are to add a new “adults only” area to their fleet of ships and it is to be named “Serenity”. The area of Serenity will be located at the aft of the ship and Carnival Inspiration, will be the first ship to show case this new feature when it comes out of dry dock in early October after a month of refurbishments.

Independence of the Seas has reached a milestone in her construction when she was floated out on the 14th September now that her hull is complete. She has been moved from dry dock to wet dock for the final months of finishing work leading up to her Debut in Southampton in May 2008.
